⚡ Grade 8 students visited the EGAT Learning Center at the North Bangkok Power Plant 🍃

⚙️ as part of an interdisciplinary unit aiming to expose students to the science, technology, economics, and social studies of energy use 💡 The excursion provided valuable insight into energy systems across the Kingdom and was a great way to link theoretical knowledge taught in the classroom to real life experiences. Students were able to engage with hands-on exhibits looking at the origins of various power systems, the generation process and the future of energy use for Thailand. 💚 Next week, students will be investigating further into the concept of clean energy, renewable resources, and resource economics, before producing their own recommendations for what action we can take to meet the energy demands of the future.
