How many IB Programmes are there?
The IB has grown into four programs for students aged 3-19. These are the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) and the Career-related Programme (CP). The result is a seamless progression of skill development and learning that supports students through every stage of their academic and personal growth and prepares them to excel beyond high school.
How many programmes are offered at the Canadian School?
We are currently in the candidacy phase for PYP and MYP and hope to offer the DP in the future.
Are we still offering Canadian curriculum?
We deliver the Quebec Education Program (QEP) within the flexible IB curriculum frameworks. IB provides a structure for organizing planning, teaching and assessment. Content from the QEP (and our partner schools in Canada) can be taught very successfully through IB’s inquiry-based and concept driven approach to learning.
