Approved Centre
CIST is delighted to announce its new status as a Pearson centre to offer Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) Level 3 Business course for Grade 11 and 12 students starting August 2021.
WHAT IS A BTEC?
BTEC is a career-focused qualification with recognition in 70 countries worldwide and will be part of our program for G11 and G12 students to develop knowledge and skills that will equip them for future employment whether after school or university.
BTEC at CIST
Preparing for the future is important for the students at CIST. In their lifetime they will either work for a business or run a business and some may do both and so an understanding of how businesses work will be an advantage. BTEC International Level 3 Business is a practical course for Grade 11 and Grade 12 students giving them knowledge, skills and a recognised qualification as part of their school curriculum. CIST aims for its students to be highly employable and an asset to the company they work for. Students will study for the Certificate in Grade 11 and Subsidiary Diploma in Grade 12.
